Service Provider Profile Management Help

Putting your profile on TLC

This page has been added to address the situation about which TLC has received a significant number of enquiries since the new profile system was in troduced in 2009.  It is addressed particularly to anyone  who is not already a sex worker at all, or not one who works with clients with disabilities, but who is considering becoming one.

Some service providers will already understand the message on this page very well. Other people, particularly those who are only considering the possibility of providing intimate services as an occupation, should think carefully about all the following points before they set out on the path of attempting to become a registered service provider.

You should regard becoming a service provider as a serious undertaking.

If you wish to get feedback about the idea before going ahead, register on the TLC forum and then ask a suitable question. You wil probably find feedback about your plan from others, including both service providers and potential clients, will help you to decide whether this is something you are ready to undertake.

What cannot be emphasized too much is this:

You must be a competent, experienced professional (with your own competently presented, professional looking and informative website) before attempting to be considered for having your  profile on this, the TLC Trust website.

If you are already providing the service professionally to people without disabilities, you'll still need to learn about the particular problems faced by those with various different kinds of disabilities, which you will need to cope with correctly when providing services to them.

Read everything on the subject on this website and follow Links to read more;  and see also the Outsiders website especially (for example) the Resources area and web resources on relevant links from it, plus the subjects reached by the flower buttons on the home page.

When you are ready and, you feel, already a capable professional srervice provider with the right experience, first ensure that you have a competently presented website describing you and your experience and services for general clients clearly. Then read everything here about the process and guidelines for becoming registered and having your profile here with TLC.

Having done that, if you still feel ready,  register with us here as a provider (follow the menu link to register and then to the login page).

After registering, log in and create your TLC service provider profile. Answer every question clearly adn concisely.  Upload a suitable photo. If your profile is then approved, your profile will become available to visitors.

But note also that having your profile listed on this website is no guarantee that you will get any enquiries at all; you might never get a single one. It all depends on supply, the quality of what is offered, and demand. TLC offers no guidance of any kind on this subject except on some of the aspects of what can be considered high quality in regard to some of the services mentioned.
