I saw this link at the Disabled Client's forum on the Escort Ireland Web site - http://www.escort-ireland.com/boards/disabled-clients/
Some of you may have seen this before. To me it high-lights the need for disabled people to communicate directly with their local councillors and MP's and make them see that a disabled man that pays a woman for sex is not sexually abusing that woman. There are people who will never get their heads around the idea of bought sex (or in some cases, any sort of sex!). I do not agree that all bought sex is abusive, but my own opinion is that bought sex is not the ideal situation. However, we have to the facts of how things are in the world and do the best we can with what is available to us.
As things stand, sex for sale is a necessity - and not just for people who are living with a disability. If the legislators try to ban it, the transactions will simply evolve to bypass the law (possibly using 'payment in kind' or something like that to avoid 'money') - but they will never stop it.
Sex is far too basic a need for most people for it ever to be discouraged by mere laws.
Taking a slightly different line, I had a phone enquiry last night from a lady with MS. She said that (for her), if a sensual massage is done properly, it can relieve the tingling and numbness in her legs for up to three months! That sounds like really good value! - perhaps there is a case for the NHS to pay my fees for her? !!
BTW Pru, that first link doesn't go anywhere useful.

Really interesting. I've seen links to view the full-length episode but they were US-only 
I would like to have seen how they handled the practical side of transferring to the bed etc. Don't know how I'd feel about visiting a brothel and being introduced by a madame to a selection of girls. Calling an independent escort to my own home didn't feel so weird.

Believe me, Tuppy and Ian are the back-bone of this site. And the person donating the hosting too. I merely flit about behind the scenes and try to look pretty.
Well, to watch it the clip, one would assume that the fun took place in the wheel-chair. If there's a PA or support worker present, I always appreciate their help and expertise to get a client from wheel chair to bed. But more often than not, it's just down to me and the client. We huff and puff our way through it. Never the same routine twice, since it depends on each individual's circumstances and degree of ability. But I have learnt to dismantle most models of wheel-chair for ease of access.
I do sometimes get concerned for my back and wouldn't attempt to move a large or heavy client. But I have had a couple who are quite light that I've been able to lift from wheel-chair to bed - and back again - and fully dressed afterwards, to give the impression of carers and family of things being found exactly as they were left.
