Leah you are welcome....talk about smouldering in the 80s - the 80s was my time too and that song is ooohhh baby...gotta get you...music now? cannot live with this stuff.
That article appealed to my sense of humour....thanks for posting it...it got me thinking too - what it would be like to have sex every day of the year with different people! Having sex with one person might lose it's excitement after...well 1 day. Variety would be my spice! |

Sex every night for a year, but with different people - 360 different people????........ Counter-crazy variety extravaganza it maybe, but sounds kind of soul-less and empty to me!!!!!...... not the kind of intensely, long, intimate connection I've been mentally picturing...

I guess it depends from which part of the sexual spectrum your experiences are moulded and shaped from. I've done the intense long term relationship thing and it left me hollow and without fire in my soul. For me, lustful variety is on the menu...I just need to find a restaurant I like that does good food.

Actually River Deep, my mental picturing was more along the lines of a year long sex session, not a relationship!!!.... my thinking was not that complicated, just quite graphic haha......
At least in these times, you'll have no problems finding "good food" and "variety" haha.... and if you'll pay, well, the world's your lobster haha...

Graphic is good Laeh....tell me how graphic is your picture and what colours do you use?
Lobster indeed he he - it is expensive though, but I'm told good food costs less in some places and that you've never been feasted until you've bean feasted with at least 57 varieties....that is meant to say feasted by the way .....x |

You know, Rosie, I just don't get the Bowie thing!!!!!!!!!!!............... I've tried, and I've tried, and I've tried... but no........ I just don't get his stuff.... "modern love" was about the only song that got under my skin.... but that's more to do with where I was at in my life in 1983 haha............ Blur does it for this blurry eyed girl too by the way......... haha, "yes, it really really really could happen"...
Radio 6 is not half bad I've gotta say, although I miss Stephen Merchant on Sunday afternoons ... I could quite easily have slotted in as one of his quirky friends..........
Anyways, I was feeling kinda old in recent times, even though I appear to be looking younger strangely enough haha........... but then I went to see Madge in Manchester on 7 July..... she was absolutely sensational, she performed for hours, and the show was an amazing spectacle (even Paul Oakenfold's warm-up set, and also a nice touch by the lady herself weaving in a Jacko medley with a fabulous dancing Jacko imitator).... I've decided that I'm gonna be just like her when I'm 50!!!!!!!!!!...... haha, well, without the entourage that is!!!!

I like loads of stuff, but main faves, spesh at home, RADIOHEAD.
I LOVE them. Love love love..they stand out as very special, very different, they don't produce for masses or go mainstream/sell out.
I have never seen Radiohead gig, I choose to be alone and in the dark for them, it seems to heighten my pleasure then.
Other faves, AIR, THIEVERY CORPORATION, SEAL, ST GERMAIN, THE DOVES, I favour really mellow stuff at home. |
